This June holidays, prepare to wow your beloved Daddies like never before!

We’ve prepared a very special Father’s Day MVP camp, where you get to surprise your fathers with a totally unique gift! This fun-filled 3 days camp is set to allow kids to explore the various performing arts module – Music, Voice-Over Acting & Presentation (MVP)!

Whether you like to be a singer, an actor, a show presenter or anything in the performing arts field, you need to be equipped with a great vocal & listening skills foundation. This camp will be a good introduction to all the foundation skills required in a safe, fun & engaging environment!

All the games and activities are planned out to prepare the kids for a final “Show-time” at the end of the camp, where they get to perform and voice-over act on the father-figure characters that they’ve built during the camp. This will be a memorable experience and keepsake for years to come!

Here's an overview of what will be covered in the 3 days camp:

DAY 1 - 9.30am - 12.30pm

  • Day 1 is all about MUSIC!
  • Warm up games to get to know one another
  • Activites to get to recognize and learn about rhythms and beats
  • Activities to learn listening skills and challenge yourself on how well you can listen

DAY 2 - 9.30am - 12.30pm

  • Day 2 is all about VOICE-OVER ACTING!
  • You will learn to identify different character types, create & build your own character
  • You will learn how to bring to life the characters that you've built
  • You will learn various vowel sounds and activities to exercise your vocal chords

DAY 3 - 9.30am - 12.30pm

  • Day 3 is all about PRESENTATION!
  • You will learn all about body language and how to project confidence when you present
  • You will be piecing together a presentation with all that you've learned and built in Day 1 & Day 2
  • And present your show-time piece to the group!

Everyone will get to walk home with their own voice-over recording*.

*Voice-over recording will be shared digitally a week post workshop.

An actor, singer, emcee & wrestler — Shawnrick is a man of many talents. From hosting a wide range of shows such as weddings and outdoor carnivals to working with Universal Studio Singapore (USS) on a series of show segments such as the USS’s Rhythm Truck, he has been able to engage crowds of virtually any size, from groups of 10 to crowds of over 25,000 through his voice and performances. Fun-loving and bubbly, Shawnrick is well-liked by his audience and always seeks to deliver nothing but the best. With his creativity, skill sets and great showmanship, your kids are in for a fun yet enriching experience!

Cheryl is a vocal instructor with 9 years of professional singing experience. She possesses a Higher Diploma in Contemporary Vocal Teaching at The Voice College, UK and a certificate in Voice Disorders, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (NYC). Currently teaching in a music school, she is in a pursuit to help people from all walks of life with their personal development & well-being, and to offer cathartic experiences through the art of singing. With years of experience in coaching & music, trust that your kids will be in good hands!
