Welcome, future young entrepreneurs and changemakers! In this course, we are going to embark on a journey that goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. We’re diving into a workshop that will help you get ready to start your own business with 3Ps – Passion, Product, and Philanthropy. These are the building blocks that will not only help you get started in business but also instill values of empathy and social responsibility.
Throughout this workshop, we’ll ignite your passions, teach you how to transform your ideas into real products, and explore the incredible power of giving back through philanthropy. 1. Passion Exploration:
- Discovering Personal Passions: Students will explore their unique interests and passions, discovering what truly excites and motivates them.
- Connecting Passions to Purpose: They will learn how to connect their passions to potential business ideas or philanthropic endeavors, understanding how personal interests can drive meaningful ventures.
2. Product Experience:
- Idea Generation: Students will learn creative brainstorming techniques to generate innovative business ideas or philanthropic projects.
- Product Presentation: They will gain hands-on experience in transforming their ideas into tangible products or services
- Engage with customers: Students will learn some good customer service skills to help enhance the overall product experience when selling
3. Philanthropic Mindset and Empathy:
- Understanding Philanthropy: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of philanthropy, its various forms through UN’s 17 SDGs, and its impact on society.
- Empathy Building: Through activities and discussions, students will cultivate empathy by exploring the needs and challenges of different communities and social causes.
- Creating Philanthropic Initiatives: They will have the opportunity to think how their product or service can help work towards their philanthropic goals.
By the end of the "Getting Kids Ready for Business with 3Ps" workshop, students will not only be equipped with the knowledge and skills to pursue their passions in business with a philanthropic goal but will also have a heightened sense of empathy and social responsibility, setting them on a path to become compassionate and impactful leaders in their communities.
Your Instructor
Meet Stephanie, a visionary educator who is redefining the boundaries of traditional learning. She is an inspiring and passionate educator who is driven by the belief that guiding children to follow their passions, coupled with the right mentorship will propel them to achieve remarkable heights!
Having grown up within an education system focused on academics, she witnessed young minds losing out on nurturing their passions to endless hours of study. This realization led her to establish Creatopiaô in 2018 together with her husband Johnny Tan. It is a platform dedicated to helping kids discover their inner passions through hands-on creative exploratory workshops.
In 2020 during the pandemic, Stephanie discovered Kidpreneurs Academy, a US based program that teaches kids all about entrepreneurship. She recognizes the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset in children, preparing them for a future brimming with possibilities and help make the world a better place through their innovative ideas. When the opportunity came to be a Kidpreneurs™ Certified Educator, Stephanie jumped onto the opportunity and became the 1st in Singapore to be a Kidpreneurs™ Certified Educator.
She is now looking to introduce this highly awarded program to Singapore and Southeast Asia, dreaming of her students earning a spot in the “Youthquake” book of future trailblazers!
