Not having a media degree to his accreditation, he accumulated film knowledge from ground zero and independently produced and directed his first film “Wa is for Wayang” in 2011. Over the years, Raymond has accumulated his experience in producing and directing films, including “Wayang Boy” and “The Wayang Kids”. 

He is also recognised by the Ministry of Education in Singapore as a good resource for schools to encourage bilingualism and promote the learning of Chinese cultures. The Ministry of Education in Korea has screened his movie in all schools and develops a teaching resource to guide educators in facilitating lessons.
